Sydney Pre-Wedding x 3, April 2013

Having grew up in Sydney, I never realised how lucky I was to live in such a scenic country and going home this time allowed me to worked with three couples (my bestman was one of them) and goto places that I never went before.

I guess is human nature not to missed or cherished anything until you loose them, but for me...I guess I'm fortunate that I'm still able to visit this lovely place every now and then! Hope to go back again really soon!

Kerrie and Kelvin

Kerrie comes from a very loving family, the reason I said that was because I can already feel how close her family was just by spending a short morning with them.

The wedding day was only 6 hours for me, but during this six hours I really can feel how much love between Kerrie and Kelvin. Once again, it was very emotional during the church ceremony where there were many happy tears!

Louise and Hillman

Louise and Hillman as you can see are very photogenic, not only because of his handsomeness or her charisma, is because they shows their true feelings on their wedding day. The wedding day was very simple, ceremony, cocktail and dinner but this also means they were able to devote most of their time to talk and mingle with their families and friends...and of course allow us to take some very nice portraits.

Thank you very much for a wonderful day and I can assure you that we've enjoyed your wedding as much as you do!

Bonnie and Hammer

Last wedding for 2012 and it was a very special one, the day started at 1pm and everything took place in the same hotel! Bonnie and Hammer are two very different types of people, Bonnie is talkative while Hammer is a subtle, Bonnie likes to laugh while Hammer stays quiet...but whenever these two comes together, I feel they are made for each other!

Since the wedding started in the afternoon, there was almost no time to take any portraits, however, with such thoughtful wedding entertainments, the couple surely will remember their wedding for a very long time!!

Gladys and Jacky

Didn't realize Gladys, Jacky and myself have much in common until we met on their big day, basically, both of them lived in Australia, have some common friends and related in a Management Association...is a pretty small world right?

To an extent, the day was pretty well planned, but having lived in HK, no one can predict what could happened with traffics in the Hong Kong Island side on a Saturday afternoon, but the couple still managed well.

The church ceremony was filled with happy tears and from what I can see, the couple enjoyed their relatives and friends presence so much that they would forgo most of their photography time and spend it with their guests!

During our rundown discussion, Jacky mentioned he must have the banquet starting at 7:30pm, with my wedding experiences, I believed it was almost impossible...but with his determination, Jacky did it and I really respect him on this...because his only reason is that he want his guest to have an early night! Well done!

Once again, thank you for a great day, I'm sure my team enjoyed it as much as myself! Congratulations!

Joyce and Edward

Known Joyce for almost half of my life, how can I not become a "digital brother" on her wedding day! Don't know what to say apart from a BIG CONGRATULATIONS! I still remember a couple of years ago, she said she will never get married...oh well...you're wrong!

Kathie and Joseph

Kathie and Joseph, one of my best friends especially in the "drinking world" (not hard to guess from the photos right?) Was honored to take pregnancy photo for them at their very own home, the day was short however it was fun...maybe because we all knew each other very well and we treat it as an "outing" rather than a photoshoot!

I remember almost 8 years ago...Kathie was making fun of my photos simply because I do not know how to take them..so personally, it was quite an achievement that Kathie now trusts me with taking her pregnancy photos!

Bonnie and Leong

The first time I thought I saw Bonnie and Leong was during the rundown discussion meeting, but I found Bonnie very familiar and she then told me she was the "sister" for one of my previous client Coey and Wilson!

The wedding was filled with fun, friendships and love, all the "brothers and sisters" were high school friends and I was honored to be able to go back to their highschool and take portraits for them, from what I saw, it was a very memorable experiences for all of them and so was for me...

Personally, I think friends from highschool are the most important friends in your life, so try to meet them whenever you can!

For Bonnie and Leong, please have a fun filled life after your wedding and remember to see your highschool friends as often as possible! I'm saw we will see each other again very soon!
