CLAPS Concert @ The Fringe Club

CLAPS = Composers, Lyricists and Performers' Society

As the name suggests, this group comprises many talented musicians and singers that bonded together during their time in university, I was very honored to know them as sometime I still wonder how can they find time to "do music" when there are so many other things that they have to worried about.

This was their 10 years reunion concert and I believe it is their fourth official concert and I sincerely hope they will have their 20th, 30th, 40th...reunion concerts as their songs are so meaningful!

These people are so talented that most of them are able to play more than two musical instruments professionally...(I'm still having problem getting my "key" right when singing Karaoke")

"Prince of background vocals" became the "Prince of vocal"!

Yes...indeed they are special...very special...

Sorry for putting this photo in..but I guess it is my way of showing "work hard, play hard and most importantly enjoy your life to the fullest - Live your Feel & Dream!"

A bunch of very talented 音樂人...

Company Annual Dinner

Was glad to be invited again as the photographer for this company's annual dinner, the theme this year was "Retro" and I was very honored to see the company's senior executives doing the "YMCA" dance on stage! Now...this is something you won't see often...but sorry...you won't see it since can't publish the photos... =P

Anyway..this year's MC was Sammy, with his arrogant and witty comments, he made the night filled with laughters...

Look at how arrogant he is...

Jody & Horace

Horace was a very quiet yet playable guy which is in complete opposite to Jody...who is vocal but timid and I think it was because these differences in characteristics that brought them together.

Whatever they are looking at...it will be the same direction from now on...

Just able to make use of the afternoon sun before we leave the hotel room...

Yoyo & Norman

When I arrived at Norman's place that morning around 9am, he was still sleeping! He finally got up 30 minutes later and started to groom himself and it suddenly occurs to me that his brothers still haven't arrived!

It was not meant to be a hectic day but we ended up rushing everything in order to arrive at the bride's home on time.

Norman was "rushing" to fill the "Open Door" red pocket...

Was able to take couple of quick shots when all the brothers finally arrived...

Finally picked up the bride!

Fion & Leo

Leo was so tense that morning we have to remind him to smile whenever we were taking photos with him not to mention the sweaty palms and forehead, however things made an 180 degrees turned when he finally got through the opening door games and have Fion in his hands.

All smiles after he picked up Fion...

Same with Fion...

Fennie & Richard

Before you read-on, I have to warn you that this will be a very long entry.....ok...you are warned...please continue reading...

I was so happy but worried that Fennie & Richard decided to invite me as their only wedding photographer...to make things more complicated, I have to do this in Melbourne...which means I have to bring all my gears and hope they won't fail on me knowing that I won't be able to buy any replacement on the day...

I was so worried that I didn't sleep for the past three nights before the wedding...worried that things won't worked out, equipment failures, photo turned out crappy and so on....but luckily all went well (apart from the eye bags...)

No...they are not twins brother..but yes...they are brothers...

I was so concentrated in taking photos and actually didn't hear what Richard said..but judging from Fennie's smile...I'm sure Richard said something very sweet...

This was the third cup of "son-in-law" tea for Fennie's dad, but he's enjoying every moment of it.

Fennie was so eager to see her new in-laws that day and I have to stop her just before she jumped out from the car to capture this moment.

They were so indulged in their first dance that they didn't realise I was right behind them...

When will it be your turn?

Tenny & Joe

I was only a part-time photographer today so wasn't able to get to know the couple very well..but from what I've heard, the groom was very playful...very!

Virginia & Shao

No...I was not the photographer of this wedding (finally for once in a while) as I was the Brother, Driver, Photographer (took less than 40 shots though), MC, Drinker for the Groom as well as his carrier!

Virginia is the sister of my highschool's friend (also my uni classmate) and Shao is my university classmate (although he graduated before me...and don't ask me why!) back in Sydney.

To be quite honest...if it wasn't for Shao, I probably will have a much harder time in Uni...but this was before he met Virginia....after meeting her....my highschool's friend (won't mention his name) suddenly find uni is a breeze...

My highschool's friend is the one NOT wearing a tie!!

Still can't remember the amount of beers/wine/anything with alcohol we had that night...

Mi & Guy

I've known Guy since year 8 (form 2 in Hong Kong's term), not only he was one of the smartest guy I know...his temper was also the worst...that was before he met Mi...

The "post Mi" Guy is gentle, caring and sometime (some would argue in most of the time) childish, all in all so happy that Guy finally found his other half and I hope you like the photos I've took for you!

I think everyone who sees the above photo will know how happy Mi is...

How many of you attended a wedding with Pink and Black as the theme colours? I have!!

Our highschool's friend making a (funny) speech about Guy...
