- Alan immigrated to Sydney (Australia) with his family when he was eight. While he was brought up in Australia, he still managed to maintain his Chinese cultural roots. His multicultural up bringing grants him to be observant from different perspectives, which compliments greatly to his ability to capture the best moments from his photography - with an interesting mixture of eastern and western flavour. He purchased his first DSLR because he needed backup photos for his own wedding. However from then on, he is forever fascinated by the world perceived through the viewfinder!
